JETS TO HONOR NEW INDUCTEES
The New York Jets plan to induct four new members into their ring of honor.
This year, Al Toon, Larry Grantham, Freeman McNeil and Gerry Philbin, will join the inaugural class from last year that included Curtis Martin, Namath, Klecko, Weeb Ewbank, Winston Hill and Don Maynard.
Toon, a three time pro bowler, and lifelong Jet, led the NFL in receptions in 1988 with 93.
Larry Grantham and Gerry Philbin are both members of the Jets Super Bowl III team.
Freeman McNeil, spent his entire career
with the Jets and led the NFL in rushing in 1982.
The ceremony will be held at Met Life Stadium
during the Jets Monday Night match up
against the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 17.
